Windy Hill Elementary PTA

WHES PTA is a non-profit organization that exists to support all of our children by sponsoring programs and materials to enrich every child's education and development. It provides funding for many student activities, including field trips, assemblies, Reflections art program, math challenge, family fun nights, and more.  Support is also provided to teachers and staff, along with appreciation activities throughout the year.

WHES PTA uses three types of fundraisers: active, passive, and service-based:

Active fundraising accounts for the biggest percentage of our operating funds. Examples of active fundraising are: No-Fuss Fundraiser, Great Lakes Scrip Gift Cards, Quarter Auction, and Bingo.

Passive fundraising involves signing up for ongoing programs such as, Box Tops App,   Shoparoo App, Amazon Smile,  

and registering your Safeway, Harris Teeter, Giant card  and Target Visa.  Passive fundraising is a great way to support our school because every family and community member can be involved.

 

The service-based fundraisers involve charging for services in order to cover the costs of offering programs, such as the Family Fun events and Wizard Wear.
